VALERIE IN GIANTLAND

Novel written by Deanna Lund and Dr. F.R. Eichelman

Deanna Lund's fan organisation Friends of Deanna Lund have recently updated her 1992 novel Valerie in Giantland: Valerie Ames Scott's Diary as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Land of the Giants. With the very sad news on 22nd June 2018, the book is also now a lasting tribute to this beautiful, veraitile, and creative woman. The revised book features a new colour cover and an epilogue chapter. Copies are available through Friends of Deanna Lund at signings and through Amazon (#ad).

JOHN WILLIAMS AT LINCOLN PARTY

Deanna Lund recently met up with composer John Williams at a party for the new movie Lincoln for which John has composed the music. Nearly half a century ago, John Williams composed themes for several Irwin Allen productions including Land of the Giants. Deanna and Carol have kindly sent this beautiful photograph for us to share with you.

2002 Land of the Giants Reunion

Don Marshall, Heather Young, Deanna Lund, Gary Conway and Don Matheson attended meal in April 2002 with Fox. Discussions included merchandising ideas in the future, and possible new TV production based on Land of the Giants ("Possible but not definitive").
